CAE to Link Helicopter Simulators for Wide Area Network Training

The Medium Support Helicopter Aircrew Training Facility (MSHATF), owned and operated at Royal Air Force (RAF) base Benson by CAE Aircrew Training Services Plc, will be connected to JMNIAN, the United Kingdom’s high-speed national secure data highway, under an initiative funded by the U.K. Ministry of Defence (MoD) and CAE.

Israel Confirms Plans for 25 Beechcraft T-6A Trainers

Israel has selected the Beechcraft T-6A Texan II as the favoured replacement for its aging air force fleet of CM-170 Zukit (Fouga Magister) trainers, with the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency having notified Congress of a possible 25-aircraft sale worth $190 million.
