Quest3D 4.0 Release

Version 4.0 of Quest3D® is now available from Quest3D resellers and the Quest3D website.

I have seen excellent results developing training simulations with the previous 3.x releases. Early evaluation of this much awaited upgrade already looks promising. I expect Version 4.0 to save time and money in development, and allow for greater interoperability between DCC data formats. And the ability to dynamic load models will allow our applications to scale better and run entry-level simulations on less capable computers.

According to the Danish creators of this fine software suite, “With the release of Quest3D 4.0, Act-3D™ B.V. lifts its flagship to an even higher quality level of real-time 3D application development. New functionality contains real-time support for COLLADA, Newton Game Dynamics, Advanced Weather Simulation, 3D GUI Support and a fully Object-Oriented development model.”

I expect to post a full evaluation after fully migration of our applications.
